At Cornerstone Baptist Church, we strive
to offer the ministries that are relevant to the needs of
today's society. The main goal of our ministries, however,
is to provide a way for us to share Christ with as many people
as possible in our area. While doing this, we want to
have as many of our people involved in God's service as possible.
We need to be busy about the Master's business until he comes
again. Below is a list of the ministry opportunities
at Cornerstone. Click the titles in blue for further
information.
| Missions |
"Go ye into all the world..."

| Sign Language Interpreters |
For the hearing-impaired, we offer ASL interpreters.
All of our interpreters are competent, enthusiastic and willing
to ensure that everyone can "hear" the gospel |
| AWANA |
"Approved workmen are not ashamed".
Learning scripture, teaching the word and game time are the
three components of this ministry. We offer a Cubbies class for pre-schoolers of church members and a Sparks ministry for K-2 grades. |
| Cornerstone Clubs |
A kids ministry for 3rd through 6th graders designed to provide Bible instruction and enhanced memorization. |
| Junior Church |
The goal of junior church is to provide Biblical
instruction catered directly to the age group of the children.
We train youngsters about basic Bible truths and how to conduct
themselves in the "grown-up" church environment.
This is definitely not baby sitting time, but rather a time
to instruct kids in the ways of Christ. |
| Nursing
Home |
Each Sunday, we visit a nursing home in our area
to share the Gospel of Christ with even those who cannot attend
our services. These services include singing and preaching.
Everyone is important in God's eyes. We strive to make
each resident's day a little brighter by the time we leave. |
| Nursery |
If you can't listen, you won't get anything from
the message. We have qualified and caring individuals
to watch your kids in each service. Nurseries are provided
for infants, crawlers and toddlers. |
| Music Ministry |
The goal of our music ministry is to prepare hearts
for the message from our speaker. We do not wish to entertain,
but to point hearts to God for His leading. |
| Sunday School |
This is a time for learning about God's Word.
We begin at 9:00am, just before the worship service. There
is a class for every age: toddlers-seniors. |
| Watchcare Groups |
As a church grows, it becomes more and more important
to care for each others needs. This ministry is designed
to give each member someone to go to for prayer and any needs
they have spiritually or physically. The prayer chain
is an active part of this ministry. As needs become known,
the head of the group can share this information with other
members. |
| Youth Group |
Youth are the future of our church. We offer a dedicated Sunday School class with energetic workers, monthly youth activities and summer Bible camps. The goal of the youth department
is to train young people to be soul winners and devoted servants
of God. For grades 7 through 12. |
| Soul-Winning |
Although Soul Winning never ends, we officially
organize Saturday mornings twice per month for our members to
go out into the community and invite folks to come worship with
us. This day starts out with a large breakfast prepared
by one of our members and ends with the passing out of several
hundred information packets about our church. |
| Children's Choir |
During the adult choir practice, youngsters age 5-12 practice
singing and learning how to serve in church. Once
per month, they sing before the entire church on a Sunday Evening. |
| Traditional Bible- Centered
Family- Oriented Worship Service |
Cornerstone is an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church whose mission is to reach the lost and disciple those who are already saved. We believe
that God should be honored in everything we do. Our services are not embellished with entertainment and showy displays of
worship. Instead, we offer traditional services with good old-fashioned hymns accompanied by an orchestra, organ and piano. The message from God is preached from the 1611 King James Bible. At the end of each service, our pastor extends an invitation to people an opportunity to respond to the message. |
