Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. " Here at Cornerstone, we endeaver to impart the truths of God's Word into the lives of children at an early age. God has mandated that parents should be the primary teachers in their child's life. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 says, "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up." As a church, we desire to come along side the family unit and help by having age appropriate classes so that each child will have an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. Every teacher gears their Bible lessons to lay foundational truths in the children's lives.
